Chloe is our 2017 Student of the Year. She completed her first program with us in 2015 at El Sol Elementary. She has attended repair programs and joined our Youth Board as a young leader as well. She's a mentor for younger students in her spare time and we are proud to have her on the team working hard to make her voice heard! She is our first female shop Apprentice and in May, she shared her journey with Open Roads at the 5th Bike-A-Palooza Fundraiser. See her speech below!
"I like to ride my bike because it's a way for me travel but also a way for me to associate with others. I like to work with youth because it teaches me skills that I'd never know otherwise." Josh has been in programs with Open Roads from a young age. He also shared his story at Bike-a-Palooza in 2018. See his speech below!
